Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

Last Updated: October 29, 2026

1. Who This Applies To

This policy explains how FÜDAVA LLC collects, uses and shares consumer health data. It is written for Washington's My Health My Data Act, Nevada's consumer health data law and Connecticut's consumer health data law, and we follow it for everyone who uses FÜDAVA. It adds to our Privacy Policy.

The short version: we collect health data only with your consent, use it only to run the features you use, share it only with the service providers below, and never sell it.

2. Health Data We Collect and Why

Health conditions and goals (for example diabetes, prediabetes, PCOS, high blood pressure, weight goals)

To build meal plans that fit your conditions and goals

Body measurements: age, sex, height, weight, activity level

To work out your calorie and protein targets

Diet, food allergies and restrictions

To keep foods you can't or don't eat out of your plans

Medications, including GLP-1 and blood-sugar-lowering medicines, and dose reminders

To adjust meals for your medicines, send the reminders you set, and show them in your doctor report

Safety answers (pregnancy or breastfeeding, kidney disease, type 1 diabetes, eating disorder history)

To decide whether an automated plan is safe for you

Blood glucose readings, lab results, weight, water, sleep and steps

To show your charts and progress, and to build the doctor report you print

Cycle and symptom logs (Period Tracker, if you use it)

To show your cycle and symptoms and adjust tips to them

Meals you log and photos of meals you send for analysis

To track what you ate and give you your daily Fuel Score

3. Where It Comes From

  • You, when you answer onboarding questions, log meals and readings, or change Settings
  • Health Connect on Android, or Apple Health on iPhone, only if you connect it and only the types you allow
  • The account holder, if you are a member of someone's household plan

4. Who We Share It With

We share health data only with these service providers, only to run FÜDAVA, and they may not use it for their own purposes. We have no affiliates that receive it.

OpenAI (service provider)

The profile details a meal plan is built from, including conditions, diet and restrictions, and meal photos you send for analysis. Used only to create your plan; not used to train AI models.

Amazon Web Services (service provider)

All of the data above, because our servers and database run there.

Google Firebase Cloud Messaging and Apple push notifications (service providers)

The text of reminders you set, such as a medication reminder, so it can reach your phone.

Nutrition lookups (USDA FoodData Central and Spoonacular) receive ingredient names and amounts only, with nothing that identifies you. Stripe receives payment details, not health data.

We may also disclose health data if the law requires it, for example in response to a valid court order.

We do not sell health data, and we do not use it for advertising.

5. Your Consent

We ask for your consent before we collect health data, on the first onboarding screen. Connecting Health Connect or Apple Health asks again, through your phone, for each type of reading.

You can withdraw consent at any time: turn off Health Connect or Apple Health in your phone's settings, or delete your account, which deletes your health data.

6. Your Rights

You can:

  • Confirm and access: ask whether we have your health data, get a copy, and get the list of everyone we shared it with
  • Delete: delete your account from Settings or the delete account page, or ask us to delete your health data. We also tell our service providers to delete it.
  • Withdraw consent: as described above

To make a request, email hello@fudava.com from the email on your account. We answer within 45 days. We won't treat you differently for using these rights.

Appeals: if we turn down your request, reply to our answer with the word "Appeal". We will decide within 45 days and explain why. If we still say no, you can contact your state attorney general (in Washington, the Washington State Attorney General's office at atg.wa.gov).

7. Household Plans

An account holder on a household plan may enter other adults' diet and health details. They must have that person's permission first. A household member can use any of the rights above by emailing us, even without their own account.
